Tri-Valley Science & Engineering Fair

Date(s) March 30 - April 3, 2010
Awards Ceremony: Wednesday, March 31
This fair accepts participants in the following grades: 7 - 12
Participation
This fair accepts participants from:
Alameda County
Contra Costa County
Authorization
This fair is authorized to qualify to CSSF participants from:
Alameda County (partial — see next section)
Contra Costa County (partial — see next section)
CSSF Qualification Issues: 1. Within eastern Alameda County qualification to CSSF by the Tri-Valley Science and Engineering Fair is limited to the eastern portion of the county, specifically the school districts of Dublin, Livermore, Pleasanton, and Sunol. Generally, students attending schools in western Alameda County qualify to CSSF through the San Francisco Bay Area Science Fair.
2. Within Contra Costa County this fair is authorized to qualify to CSSF only students attending schools in the San Ramon School District. Other Contra Costa County students must qualify to CSSF through the San Francisco Bay Area Science Fair (western Contra Costa County) or the Contra Costa County Science & Engineering Fair (eastern Contra Costa County).
Comments: 1. Since this fair does not accept students in grade 6, such students attending schools within the counties enumerated in the “Authorization” section above have no qualification mechanism to CSSF.
2. This fair is also an ISEF affiliate.
