The USC College Language Center, housed on the third floor of Taper Hall, offers a computer lab, small group conversation rooms for studying and practicing foreign language, as well as televisions with a variety of international channels that provide students with the opportunity to keep up on current events in their language of choice. In addition, The Language Center offers many different foreign magazines for those wishing to practice their reading skills.
There are currently eight languages in USC College that can be taken as majors and minors — Spanish, French, Italian, Japanese, Chinese, German, Russian and Korean. Courses are also offered in Arabic, Hindi, Hebrew, Polish and Portuguese. Each of these can be used to fulfill the Foreign Language Requirement.
