University Comptroller

Erik Brink was appointed university comptroller in May 2005. He is responsible for directing the establishment, implementation and administration of the university’s accounting principles, practices, procedures and systems for the maintenance of its fiscal records and preparation of its financial reports.

Brink manages the offices of fringe benefit accounting, university payroll services and financial systems administration.

He earned his bachelor’s degree in business economics with an emphasis in accounting from the University of California, Santa Barbara, in 1992. Before joining USC, Brink was a senior audit manager with PricewaterhouseCoopers. He is a Certified Public Accountant.
