Founded in 1946 with a gift from Captain Allan Hancock, KUSC has developed into the premier classical public radio station in the country. The station broadcasts classical music without commercials 24 hours a day, and is home to the Metropolitan Opera broadcasts as well as daily reports on the arts in Southern California. Its facilities in downtown Los Angeles include studios, offices and meeting spaces.

The Doctors of USC–Downtown
Designed to meet the growing needs of USC faculty, staff and their dependents as well as university retirees and other people living or working in downtown Los Angeles, the Doctors of USC–Downtown center offers general and specialty medical care from USC faculty physicians. Services include internal medicine, women’s health (including gynecology and mammography), endocrinology, and cosmetic and therapeutic dermatology. There is also an executive health program with highly personalized disease detection and prevention exams.
