Bing Theatre

Bing Theatre, a traditional proscenium house with seating for 551, was designed by William L. Pereira & Associates and opened in 1976. Located in the center of the University Park campus, the theatre is equipped with a fly system, trap doors and an orchestra pit, and hosts both theatrical and musical performances. The building took on a new look in 2001 with plush new seats and newly refurbished lobby, and in summer 2005 the proscenium also was modified to improve acoustics.
