Kenneth T. Norris Jr. Auditorium

Located at the heart of the University Park campus, Bovard Auditorium is USC's largest performance venue and one of the oldest stage facilities in continuous operation in the Los Angeles area. Built to accommodate church services, the auditorium opened in 1921 and originally featured a magnificent pipe organ – removed in the 1970s – that was considered one of the finest in the West. Bovard Auditorium has undergone several refurbishments over the years – including a major face-lift 1979-80, and a comprehensive restoration and renovation 2003 – and now offers an exquisite performance space and a high-quality atmosphere for performers and patrons alike. The auditorium is widely used by the university community, and also is available for rental by concert promoters, corporations and the film and television industry.
