 The Foyer of Town and Gown  Considered the living room of the University, Town and Gown has been a meeting place for members of the University and the outside community since its completion in 1935. With its French doors, arched ceilings, chandeliers and a grand piano, the Town and Gown dining room has a warm and formal elegance. The brick-lined patio and fountain serve as an ideal location for outdoor events. Town and Gown can accommodate 550 at sit-down dinners and up to 1,500 for receptions.
