Academic Integrity
USC Academic Senate
The Committee on Academic Integrity shall, at the instruction of the Faculty
Senate or its Executive Board, investigate charges, issues, and allegations
bearing on the academic integrity of the University. Academic integrity is
defined as honesty in matters academic, which includes errors of omission as
well as commission. The Committee shall establish such policies and procedures
for carrying out its functions as are consistent with relevant provisions of the
Faculty Handbook and with reasonable and proper academic practice. The Committee
shall inform the Faculty Senate or its Executive Board of the findings of its
investigations.
