Committee on Academic Policies and Procedures

The Committee on Academic Policy and Procedures shall monitor and review, on
its own initiative, or at the initiative of the Senate or Executive Board, any
University policy which materially affects the primary work of the faculty, with
special regard to what the policy is, how or where it was originated, and the
manner of its implementation. In-depth studies of particular areas of University
process shall only be carried out at the direction of the Executive Board. This
committee is also charged to discover, and to inform the Senate upon, the
disposition of whatever requests or recommendations concerning University policy
may be directed to the University Administration by the Senate.
