Intellectual Property Issues: Copyright, Courseware and Patent Policies
During the Fall 2000 Semester, the University Research Committee is expected to review patent policy documents in light of senate discussions during the 1999-2000 academic year. There will also be an effort of a Joint Research Committee / Administration working group to separate issues of copyright, courseware and patent policy. We will post any drafts as they become available.
NEW USC's Intellectual Property Policy (passed)
The Intellectual Property Policy has been approved by Lloyd Armstrong, Jr.

NEW Revised Intellectual Property Policy
There will be a resolution proposed to endorse a revised Intellectual Property
Policy, which responds to discussion from last year by offering more options for
present faculty.
A draft of a new policy for USC on incubators will be discussed at our March 21
meeting with the aim of informing further discussion within the Research Committee.
