Tenure Clock

A resolution to extend the tenure clock was passed by the Senate in May 2000, which led to the establishment of a Task Force on Tenure Clock Policy, chaired by Professor Timur Kuran. The Task Force met in December, and arrived at the following summary recommendations, and proposed amendments to the Faculty Handbook. They will be discussed in the Academic Senate in the Spring Semester 2001.
