Clicker Loan Program
The Academic Senate, in collaboration with the Provost's office,
is loaning 50 free clickers for year-long (or longer) faculty classroom
use. Please contact Connie Roque - croque@usc.edu; (213) 740-7169 - if you
are interested in obtaining a free clicker.
The PRS "Clicker & Receiver" Combo - A New Teaching Tool
The Technology Enhanced Learning and Distance Learning Initiative is
pleased to offer the USC faculty a new wireless personal response
clicker system that enables student polling during lectures with
immediate and viewable results.
The PRS "clicker & receiver" combo is a new teaching tool that helps
gauge your students' understanding and retention of material during
class. Class participation can be measurably increased, and both
students and faculty can view the results within seconds in a
PowerPoint presentation that can be captured for future use.
Faculty with access to a projector and laptop will have all they need
to get started. Students will need to own a clicker and can purchase
one from the USC Bookstore at the discount price of $35. Combo, user
agreement, and training manual distribution begins September 20th,
