Reforms That Matter: Improving Faculty Work

When I speak on college campuses about academic reform I often paraphrase F. Scott Fitzgerald's comment that "the test of a first rate mind is to hold two contradictory ideas at the same time." Academic life is filled with such tests, and this year has been one long exam for myself. As the work of the Senate concludes for this academic year I find myself pleased and disappointed.  More

In addition, Dr. Dutton directs the School's M.A. in Communicatino Management Program and holds a courtesy joint appointment in the School of Policy, Planning, and Development.
