USC's overarching goal is to prepare its students
- both domestic and international - for leadership roles in a world in which knowledge and economies are increasingly interconnected. In order to accomplish this, USC needs to create substantially more teaching and research opportunities for its students and faculty to learn about the cultures, politics, and economies of Asia and Latin America.
