New Dornsife Policy and Dornsife ICF Template Language:

The Policy Concerning Human Subjects Research at the Dana & David Dornsife Cognitive Neuroscience Imaging Center has been updated. All investigators using the Dornsife Center need to use the new Dornsife language in their Informed Consent Forms. The new policy has several changes including the course of action in case of incidental findings to increase subject protection.

To access the new Informed Consent Form language from the UPIRB homepage, click "Forms and Instructions" page linked from the Contents, then scroll down to the "Addenda to Informed Consent" under the Informed Consent Templates or by clicking here.

University Park Human Subjects Education Sessions

Human subjects education sessions, open to any interested faculty, staff, and students, are routinely offered on both the Health Sciences Campus (HSC) and University Park Campus (UPC). The education sessions cover the IRB application process and human subjects basics.

Also, individual sessions can be arranged for classrooms, faculty or staff meetings, or other groups. To find out when the next education session is offered go to the Human Subjects Education Session page on the OPRS website or to arrange for a separate education session, contact the oprs@usc.edu.
