Fourth Quarter Royalties Due on January 30

Please contact Trademarks and Licensing if you do not receive an invoice for fourth quarter royalties. Royalties are paid on a quarterly schedule.  The due date for all royalty payments is 30 days following the calendar quarter, except in certain special license situations. Please contact us should you have any questions about this process.

ICLA Awards USC Trademarks & Licensing Services ‘Program of the Year’

USC Trademarks & Licensing Services was selected as the 2009 Synergy Award Program of the Year during the International Collegiate Licensing Association (ICLA) annual convention held in Orlando, FL on June 18-20. USC Director of Trademark Licensing & Social Responsibility, Matt Curran, was on-hand to accept the award.

The Synergy Award is given annually to an institution that demonstrates extraordinary commitment to collegiate licensing over the course of the past year. The ICLA recognized USC for making significant contributions to the collegiate licensing industry through innovative and new ideas during the 2008-09 academic year; providing industry leadership; and demonstrating successful teamwork in the licensing process.

USC Trademarks & Licensing Services is responsible for maintaining, licensing and marketing trademark assets that encompass both sports and academic applications. This includes involvement in brand identity, license selection and contract negotiations, corporate responsibility and compliance, quality control, and anti-counterfeiting enforcement. Over the past years, USC has experienced growth in royalty revenues while at the same time taking an industry leadership role in the area of social compliance.

About ICLA: Founded in 2002, the ICLA provides educational and networking opportunities, enhancement of acceptable operating standards and ethics, and establishment of the overall prestige and understanding of the profession of collegiate licensing.
