Selection Criteria
For entering transfer students only. Selection is based on grade-point average in transferable courses and rigor of courses. Last year’s recipients had an average GPA above 3.7 and had completed more than 30 transferable units at the time their applications were submitted.

ALUMNAE SCHOLARSHIPS

3.6. Each alumnae group that awards scholarships establishes individual criteria. A personal interview is required.

ALUMNI CLUB SCHOLARSHIPS

Selection Criteria

HALF-CENTURY TROJANS ENDOWED SCHOLARSHIPS

Selection Criteria
Open to entering freshmen and continuing USC students. Applicant must be a direct descendant (i.e. grandchild or great-grandchild) of a Half-Century Trojan (USC alumna or alumnus who graduated at least 50 years ago). Selection criteria include academic achievement, potential for leadership and community service.

ASIAN PACIFIC ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

Selection Criteria
The USC Asian Pacific Alumni Association Scholarship program awards scholarships to outstanding students on the basis of academic achievement, personal merit, financial need and ability to contribute to the Asian Pacific American Community.
Applicants must be full-time students (undergraduate, transfer, graduate or professional) who will be enrolled in a USC degree program for the entire year. A minimum 3.0 grade-point average (in a 4-point system) in high school (for entering freshmen) or college is required. Applicants must be U.S. citizens or legal residents of the United States.
Application process
You must apply for federal, state, and university financial aid and, in most cases, subsequently
qualify for financial aid to be considered for an APAA scholarship. Trustee Scholars are not eligible.
Applications will be available in November 2009. Submit the APAA scholarship application, autobiographical

Selection Criteria
Freshman, continuing USC undergraduate, transfer and graduate students are eligible. Applicants should display a strong commitment to the Black community. Selection is on the basis of academic achievement, demonstrated financial aid eligibility, leadership and community service. Semi-finalists, selected from a pool of qualified applicants, will be invited for a mandatory interview. Finalists are selected based on the interviews, and are required to complete 20 hours of volunteer service for the USC BAA (10 per semester).

Selection Criteria
The purpose of the NTSAF is to assist freshman and transfer students with high financial need, and who demonstrate an extraordinary level of community awareness in their pursuit of higher education at USC. First-generation college students and local area applicants are given primary consideration in the selection process. Please note that the scholarship is not limited to these populations. Application process
Submit a completed 2010 NTSAF Scholarship application by the postmark deadline of Feb. 12, 2010 for freshmen and May 12, 2010 for transfers. An interview will be required for scholarship finalists.
