Document Management System

Fax Documents Directly To Your File

After we receive your application, you will be able to fax additional materials directly to your file. Faxed documents (e.g. transcripts, letters of recommendations, financial aid documents, financial statements, etc.) will be reviewed much more quickly with this service.

How to use the Document Management System

  1. Submit your application for admission. If you have not yet done so, click apply now.
  2. Login to sig.usc.edu. You will need your ten-digit USC ID number. If you applied online, you received your USC ID in an email acknowledging submission of your application. If you submitted a paper application, use the bar code labels you received with the acknowledgement of your application.
  3. To continue, click on "my admission documents." From here you will need to be able to print customized, encoded fax cover sheets we provide at the above site.

Some facts:

  • Items received separate from an application can take one week to arrive by mail (more from abroad), and during peak season can take another week or longer to file. Faxing the materials will eliminate these delays.
  • We will e-mail you with confirmation right away if the fax is readable by our computers (if not, we will still add the fax to your file on a priority basis).
  • Faxed transcripts will be considered unofficial. Preliminary admission decisions using unofficial records are subject to verification of the official record.
