
USC School of Pharmacy
The USC School of Pharmacy has been a leader in the field since its founding in 1905. The school established the first clinical pharmacy program in the U.S. in 1968, emphasizing the application of drug knowledge to patient care, and in 1990 initiated the first program in pharmaceutical economics and policy. Students work in hospital pharmacies and in areas that include community pharmacies, gerontology, home health care, intensive care, managed care and pediatrics.
