
USC School of Theatre
Founded in 1945, the USC School of Theatre is recognized internationally as a leader in theatre education. Uniquely located in the center of the entertainment industry, the school offers a conservatory environment with all the academic resources of a major research university. A partnership with Center Theatre Group, a leading professional theatre, enables students to gain professional experience and academic credit through internships ranging from performance opportunities to administrative experience. The school also attracts a wide range of guest lecturers, including renowned actors, directors and writers working in theatre, film and television. Three-year intensive graduate programs in Acting and Dramatic Writing are taught by a faculty composed of theatre professionals whose body of work represents the highest level of their craft.
