USC School of Social Work
Founded in 1920, the USC School of Social Work offers an innovative and flexible curriculum that searches for just and humane ways of addressing the needs of specific vulnerable populations.
Our programs are distinguished by top-ranking faculty who consult on domestic and international projects that help build stronger societies—and by relevant field education at more than 300 social service agencies in Southern California. Our multiethnic student body enrich the classroom with their diverse perspectives.
Equally strong components of the school are community involvement—both locally and through programs in Asia and Latin America—and the network of support students receive from faculty, advisors, alumni and peers.
