Applicants to Engineering and Computer Science majors must respond to the two short-answer questions on the USC Writing Supplement.
Transfer applicants to engineering and computer science majors who have not completed full-time, college-level coursework must respond to one additional question on the USC Writing Supplement.
For first-year applicants to all majors in engineering and computer science, four years of mathematics are required for admission consideration, preferably with calculus in progress or completed by senior year. Three years of natural sciences are also required.
Transfer applicants to all majors in engineering and computer science should have completed one or more semesters of college-level calculus and meet USC admission requirements. Students are encouraged to complete additional pre-engineering coursework as available.
