Student Billing Via Web

You must have your 10 digit Id! Add or refresh funds on your USCard discretionary account by asking us to charge the deposit to your student account. Deposits requested will be charged to the student's account within one business day. It is as simple as telling us how much to deposit to your USCard. You can specify a minimum of $20 or the maximum of $1000. Your account must be in good standing and your payment history must be current. Many related services are now offered as well and include automatic reloading of pre-set deposit value, granting parents access, etc. To use the web based process, go to the "Manage your account" section.

Credit Card Via Web

Use your credit card online to deposit to your account! Visit www.usc.edu/vipcardservices and select students to proceed in adding funds to your USCard. Requests made Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:00pm will be processed within 2 hours and all requests made after USCard business hours will be made by 9:00am the following business day. Please note that we accept Visa, MasterCard and Discover only at this time.

To open an optional debit account on your USCard, complete a USCard Deposit Request contract available at our counters. Current payment methods include:

  • Student Account - Your deposit to your optional USCard debit account will be billed automatically and will appear on your monthly student account statement. Your student account must be in good standing;
  • Check/Money Order - Mail a check/money order with your USCard Deposit Request Contract to deposit funds into any of your optional USCard debit accounts;
  • Credit Card - Deposit money into any of your optional USCard debit accounts using your Visa, MasterCard or Discover Card. (Please note that American Express, or other charge cards are not accepted at this time);
  • USC Federal Credit Union Account - Transfer money directly from your Credit Union checking or savings account into your USCard Discretionary account;
  • Cash

Value Transfer Station

Located in the basement of Leavey Library, the USCard Value Transfer Station (VTS) will allow you to convert cash to discretionary funds on your USCard. The service is available 24 x 7 and accepts $1, $5, $10 and $20 bills.
