Is your USCard balance at least $100?
USCard recommends that you have a $100 minimum balance in your USCard discretionary account so that you have the funds available for your return trip. To check your balance or deposit funds online for immediate use visit www.usc.edu/uscard and click on “Manage Your Account”.
How many people are in your party? How do I tip?
All passengers ride for the price of one! Tell the dispatch operator how many people are in your party and have your address for pick-up ready. A 15% gratuity is automatically included in your fare when using your USCard.
Ready to request your cab?
Text your pick-up address to 777222 or call (800) USC – TAXI. Tell the dispatch operator your address for pick-up, how many people are in your party and that you are using your USCard, and ask for the dispatch operator’s name.
Where do you want to go? Is your destination in the service area?
If your destination falls with the service area, USCard will be accepted by Yellow Cab as payment. If it is a destination outside of the service area, you will need to use an alternate method of payment. Have the addresses ready for your pick-up and destination.
