| For years there has been a desire among us to fully realize
the mission of USC's Faculty Center to create an environment "dedicated
to promoting the intellectual, cultural and social interaction among the
USC faculty and senior staff members." This year, the Board of Advisors
has the great honor of unveiling to you the strategic plan that has been
adopted to bring this desire to fruition.
One of the cornerstones of the plan is the development of a new name,
an initiative which was overwhelmingly approved by you the membership.
We are pleased to announce that the Faculty Center will henceforth be
known as the USC University Club, a name that hints at the changes to
come.
