Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What are the benefits of becoming a member?
A: Enjoy excellent food served in congenial settings; entertain guests before University, Coliseum, or Music Center events; dine with old friends or make new ones; conduct meetings in attractive and efficient facilities; host receptions and other special events; and enjoy exchange privileges with other university Faculty Clubs.

Q: How do I join?
A: If you are a faculty or staff member, complete a membership application form.  If you are applying for an affiliate membership, please fill out an affiliate membership application.

Q: What are the fees?
A: The annual dues are $270 and can be paid by payroll deduction in equal monthly installments.

Q: Do you have reciprocal privileges with other Clubs?
A: Yes, we are a member of the Association of College and University Clubs (ACUC), which allows our members to visit other Faculty Clubs that belong to the Association.

Q: What are the business hours?
A: We are open for :

    Lunch (Monday through Friday)11:30 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
    The Lounge (Monday through Thursday) 4:30 p.m. - 7:00 p.m.
    Dinner (Monday through Thursday) 5:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. (While classes are in session during the spring and fall semesters.)

Q: What form of payment is accepted?
A: University Club Membership Card, Cash, Checks, VISA, MasterCard, Discover, American Express and Departmental requisitions.

Q: Do you have to be a member to book an event?
A: Yes, you need to be an active member, or you may be sponsored by a member of the Club.

Q: Are you open to the public?
A: No. However, an event may be sponsored by a member if a non-member, or an organization wishes to use the banquet facilities.

Q: How do I get there?
A: We are located on the Southeast corner of the campus next to the Law Center. The campus main entrance on Exposition Blvd. provides auto access. Please see map.

Q: Do you have parking facilities?
A: We can assist you in making parking arrangements for large events may be made through the USC Transportation Services Office. Valet parking is available Monday through Friday from 8 am unitl 5 pm.  Click Here for more information and pricing.

Q: How do I cancel my membership or put it on hold while on sabbatical?
A: All we ask is that you fill out a Membership Status Change Form and return it to our office.  We will process your request upon receipt of the signed form.
  You will need the free Adobe Acrobat Reader to fill out or print the form.
