The faculty and students of the USC Roski School of Fine Art invite you to the 2013 MFA Open Studios. Ffteen students will have their studios on display, offering a look into each student’s individual practice. There will be a group show to highlight the common concerns and interactions within the program. The studios will be open from 5-10pm, followed by music and performances.
The USC MFA program is small, but includes a wide range of contemporary art practices. The second year students, poised to begin the intensive process of creating their culminating thesis shows, have been working towards a coherent body of work and an individual approach. The first year students, fresh from their first semester, have been exploring new and surprising directions individually and collaboratively.
