Faculty artists John Perry, Donald McInnes and Dennis Trembly join the Schoenfeld Duo on stage.

Violinist Alice Schoenfeld and cellist Eleonore Schoenfeld will take to the stage, along with several of their outstanding colleagues, for a performance of noted chamber works. Joined by pianist John Perry, violist Donald McInnes and double bassist Dennis Trembly, the Schoenfeld Duo will perform Gabriel Fauré’s Piano Quartet No. 1, Op. 15 and Franz Schubert’s “Trout” Quintet, Op. 114.

As child prodigies, Alice and Eleonore Schoenfeld performed as soloists and concertized together as the Schoenfeld Duo with the major philharmonic and radio orchestras of the U.S., Europe, Australia, the Far East and Canada. In 1959 they began teaching at the USC Thornton School, where they quickly became international known pedagogues noted for their inspirational teachings and successful students.
