USC Fisher Gallery, the Consulate of Mexico in Los Angeles, and the Division of Critical Studies in the USC School of Cinema-Television present a screening of the film De ída y vuelta/Back and Forth by Salvador Aguirre [2000].
The Border Film festival Features four films that focus on the US/Mexico border and examine where cultures clash and intertwine. The festival is co-sponsored by the Consulate of Mexico in Los Angeles and the Division of Critical Studies in the USC School of Cinema-Television. All films are subtitled in English. Discussions will follow each film, with the filmmakers in attendance [subject to availability]. Screenings will take place in USC's Lucas Hall Theatre, Room 108.
