Bill Trimble is the planning department's project manager for the rebuilding of Paseo Colorado. Issues of urban design will be discussed.

Bill Trimble is the planning department's project manager for the rebuilding of Paseo Colorado (on the ruins of the torn-down Plaza Pasadena, a major 'mistake' built in the 1970s).

Trimble is also deeply familiar with development issues in Pasadena history. His talk will address urban design issues, the role of public spaces, and the evolution over time of ideas about planning a vibrant downtown in Pasadena.

(No food and drink are permitted in the auditorium, but the patio outside has many tables and chairs for use before or after the presentation.)
