An Indian classical music concert to promote peace in south Asia. The musicians are Shujaat Husain Khan (sitar) and Tari Khan (tabla).

Shujaat Husain Khan is perhaps the foremost north Indian classical musician of his generation. The son and disciple of the legendary Vilayat Khan, Shujaat Husain Khan is the seventh in an unbroken line from a family that has produced many musical masters. He belongs to the Imdad Khan "gharana" (or school) of the sitar, and has played the instrument since the age of three. Shujaat Husain Khan is also a remarkable vocalist; his style of playing the sitar (known as the "gayaki ang") is imitative of the subtleties of the human voice.

Tari Khan comes from the famous Punjab "gharana" and ranks among the most accomplished exponents of the tabla today. At the age of six, he came under the tutelage of Ustad Mia Shaukat Hussain Khan, and has dazzled audiences with his percussive genius ever since. Tari's tabla playing is a combination of artistic purity, charisma, lyricism and expressive innovation.
