English Language and Literature,
University of Michigan - Ann Arbor, will offer a brief introduction to some of his teaching and research practice including:1) a simple course website for English: what it takes and what you get 2) research on online peer editing and the difference the medium makes 3) an examination of how networked computing erodes the teaching / research distinction 4) student portfolios and group multimedia projects in the Humanities, and 5) a collaborative project in the qualitative and quantitative study of culture. Together, these topics will set the stage for a lively discussion on research teaching in the Humanities and Social Sciences here at USC.
