Dennis Glenn will discuss new and sometimes controversial opportunities, issues, and trends facing higher education in global environments.

Specific topics will include: blended learning, cost of content creation, cost containment, measures of ROI (return on investments), change management, new copyright provisions, standards, and branded education.

Additionally, he will also showcase a few award winning and highly used distributed education projects developed at Northwestern University including: The Oyez Project, a US Supreme Court multimedia database; a case-based medical ethics digital video project, and more.
