Noted pianist and collaborator Alan Smith performs romantic and modern chamber works with violinist Elizabeth Pitcairn and Los Angeles Opera Resident Artist Jessica Rivera.

Noted pianist and collaborator Alan Smith performs romantic and modern chamber works with two young Thornton alumni. Violinist Elizabeth Pitcairn is concertmaster of the New West Symphony and a new member of the Thornton faculty and soprano Jessica Rivera is a resident artist with the Los Angeles Opera. The program features Frederick Delius’ rarely heard Violin Sonata in addition to songs by Claude Debussy, William Walton and André Previn.
