MFA candidate Lisa Tchakmakian's video installation, comprised of architectural elements and imagery, encourages the viewer to form a new way of thinking about cinema.
Comprised of one screen and two projectors, Tchakmakian's video installation features imagery that lends itself to the Romantic genre, both Romantic Comedy and Romantic Tragedy. A special reception for Tchakmakian is scheduled for Thursday, March 13, from 7-10 PM.
Tchakmakian was recently selected into this year's USC Art In Motion festival as part of the AIM IV: Interference Patterns exhibition at the Armory Northwest in Pasadena, CA.
