Dean Louis, University of Michigan, addresses the issue of problems in the work place.

Doctor Dean Louis has been on the faculty of the University of Michigan since 1971. His practice is limited to surgery of the hand. He graduated from the University of Vermont Medical School and did his Orthopaedic training at the University of Michigan.

Louis did a one-year fellowship in hand surgery at Columbia Presbyterian Medical Center in New York. He is Board certified in Orthopaedic Surgery. He holds a Certificate of Added Qualification in Hand Surgery.

Louis has published over 100 peer-reviewed journal articles on hand surgery. In 1996, he was elected President of the American Society for Surgery of the Hand, the oldest organization devoted to this specialty.
