This workshop is intended for web developers moving beyond simple web pages, for developing standards compliant, accessible sites, or involved planning more complex and advanced web projects.

This workshop is intended for web developers moving beyond simple web pages, for developing standards compliant, accessible sites, or involved planning more complex and advanced web projects.

Participants will be given an overview of the front-end technology issues involved (XHTML/CSS/DOM) as well as project oriented issues such as Section 508, technical infrastructure and other USC specific conerns. We will touch on the topics of back-end development and architecture, design process, etc.

In-depth coverage of topics will depend upon the participants wishes, but may include tutorials and discussion of: Web Standards, Inclusive Design, Universal Design, Usability, Information Architecture, Interaction Design, Database Driven Applications, Systems Architecture, advanced tech
