The Black Staff and Faculty Caucus host their 10th annual Juneteenth celebration which commemorates the end of slavery in the United States.

Everyone is invited to participate in a day consisting of story telling, raffles, a silent auction, dominos, cards, quizzes about Juneteenth, and much more.

Juneteenth is the oldest known celebration of the ending of slavery. From its Galveston, Texas origin in 1865, the observance of June 19th as the African American Emancipation Day has spread across the United States and beyond.
