Baccalaureate is a non-denominational, multi-faith religious celebration for the graduating class and their families.
Baccalaureate begins at 5 p.m. and runs about one hour.
The participation of numerous university dignitaries, as well as the religious directors who work with the student groups, adds luster to the occasion. The service itself features music and readings from a wide range of religious traditions, and concludes with a benediction over the graduating students.
No tickets are required for the Baccalaureate service, though seating is limited and does fill up quickly. It is recommended that participants arrive by 4 p.m. for best seating.
