Under the direction of Donald Crockett, the ensemble performs as part of the Los Angeles Philharmonic’s Green Umbrella Series.

The program, “Pacific Rim,” includes "AC/DC" by Thornton composition alum P.Q. Phan, "The Perilous Chapel" by Lou Harrison, "The Heart’s Ear" by Liza Lim, "Ceol na Fidhle" by Thornton composition alum Maria Grenfell and "Now and Then" by Earl Kim.
