The USC Thornton Symphony performs in a special concert at Walt Disney Concert Hall under the baton of principal conductor Sergiu Comissiona.

Soloists include Thornton alumna Sheryl Staples, violin, and Thornton faculty artist Ronald Leonard, cello.

The program includes Thornton faculty composer Frederick Lesemann's "Grand Hope Crossing," Johannes Brahms' Double Concerto in A Minor, op. 102 and Bela Bartok's Concerto for Orchestra.
