Principal conductor H. Robert Reynolds and resident conductor Sharon Lavery lead the USC Thornton Wind Ensemble in works by Bach, Gustav Holst, Jean Francaix and Nikolai Lopatnikoff.
Also on the program: Island, by Thornton faculty member Donald Crockett, a 1998 piece commissioned by the concert bands of the Big Ten Universities.
