USC is a member of the ResearchChannel, a consortium of leading research universities and organizations that use cutting edge technologies including direct broadcast television and streaming media to emphasize and publicize the research conducted at each institution. The ResearchChannel provides an opportunity for the University of Southern California to broadcast and webcast lectures, presentations, symposia and panels to large national and international audience.

As a member of the ResearchChannel consortium, USC is entitled to produce and distribute at least 100 hours per year of programming to a potentially large global audience via the ResearchChannel’s satellite channel and website. The Channel is an excellent conduit to emphasize and publicize the research strengths of USC, support recruitment of students and faculty, and enhance USC’s research, education and outreach missions.

Webcasts are available to view 24-hours a day, seven days a week.
