Part of a seven-year project by USC professor Martin Krieger, the photographs document Los Angeles' landscapes and the working lives of Angelenos employed at various shops, plants and warehouses.
These photographs of Los Angeles’ landscapes reveal aspects of daily life that most scholars, residents and visitors pass without notice and offer a glimpse of the conditions that exist at different rungs of the region’s socio-economic ladder.
