Parminder K. Nagra stars in this film from 2002 as the daughter of orthodox Sikh who rebels against her parents' traditionalism by running off to Germany to play soccer.

With a title referencing the enigmatic Real Madrid soccer player and his signature playing style, this movie also features performances by Keira Knightley, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers and Juliet Stevenson. The film won the ESPY award for best sports movie in 2003.
