'The 2004 Election' Conference

What Does it Mean for Campaigns and Governance?

Sponsored by USC School of Law, the Initiative and Referendum Institute, and the USC-Caltech Center for the Study of Law and Politics

Fri, October 8, 2004 from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm

Admission: Free

Musick Law Building (LAW)
University Park Campus

Political science, economic, communication and legal scholars meet with people working in politics, campaigns and the media to discuss the major trends of the November 2004 campaign that could shape politics into the next decade.

Complete with a keynote address by Senator Bob Graham (D.–Fla., pictured) at a by-reservation-only luncheon, this day-long conference addresses the initiative and referendum process; the new campaign finance rules and their effect on this election; polarized voters and politics; and political communications, the media and the internet.
