Richard J. Riordan, two-term mayor of Los Angeles and partner in the private equity firm of Riordan, Lewis & Haden, offers his insight on ways to improve the livability of “the City of Angels.”

Riordan also founded the Los Angeles Business Team that, since 1995, has worked with more than 3,000 companies representing 300,000 jobs and over $20 billion in private investment. Under Riordan’s leadership, Los Angeles led the U.S. in manufacturing jobs, surpassed New York City in fashion jobs and had more multimedia companies than Silicon Valley and New York City combined.
