In this brown bag luncheon, Ellen DuBois, a history professor at the University of California at Los Angeles, examines the formation of the Inter-American Commission on Women and the implications for transnational feminist methodology.

DuBois’ recent work deals with the 1928 union of US and Cuban women as they formed the first international feminist organization centered outside of the US or Europe.
