He is an expert in the savings and loan industry with other areas of interest in banking, anti-trust law and economics, regulatory law and economics, and valuation studies. His recent research has explored Supreme Court decisions on insider trading.

Cheeseman is the author of several books, including a book on business law (pictured).

Presenters are encouraged to talk about choices made, difficulties encountered, and commitments solidified. They are free to choose any topic that fits their definition of "What Matters to Me and Why."
