News professionals, humorists and novelists will examine the blurred line between journalism and entertainment at a one-day conference.

What does it say about the boundaries between fiction and nonfiction, news and entertainment, when young people reportedly get their news from Jon Stewart's "The Daily Show" more than from any other source? This and other journalism issues will be examined at this one day conference.

Among the speakers and moderators are Marjorie Miller, foreign editor, Los Angles Times; Judy Muller; ABC News correspondent and National Public Radio commentator; Richard Stolley, senior editorial adviser, Time magazine; Harry Shearer, actor, author, comedian and radio personality; Marianne Wiggins, novelist; and Geoffrey Cowan, dean of USC Annenberg School for Communication.
